Following the success and inspiration of the Hessdalen Conference 2024, Project Hessdalen proudly introduces the OpenADS Initiative, a collaborative international platform dedicated to advancing our understanding of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP). Our goal is to foster global cooperation through improved data sharing, mutual support, and collective innovation.

OpenADS will establish a secure cloud-based Data Lake, providing researchers easy and secure access to shared data, streamlining analytics, and encouraging cooperation. Clear guidelines will ensure data integrity and responsible use.

Additionally, OpenADS will facilitate the exchange of expertise on data collection technologies, offering resources and guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and equipment management. Our platform will also support members in writing funding applications, publishing research results, and enhancing visibility and scientific recognition.

Collaboration will be with regular informal check-ins to maintain momentum, alongside strategic meetings held biannually to review progress and plan future actions.

Various roles including active members, expert panels, and specialized work groups will ensure broad, meaningful participation.
